What we collect
Account email address. When you sign in with Google, the extension receives your email address. It is used for one thing: to identify your account and the level of access granted to it.
Content you create in the extension. Notes you write, templates you save, marks you place on profiles, and text you submit for translation. This is stored so the extension can show it back to you and, for team features, to the colleagues sharing your workspace.
Feature usage records. The extension records which of its features are used and when. These records are tied to your account and are used only to decide what to improve.
What we do not collect
- Your Google password — sign-in goes through Google's own authorisation window, and the extension never sees your credentials.
- Your browsing history, or any content from sites other than the one the extension is built for.
- Anything through advertising or analytics networks — the extensions use none.
Where the data goes
Data is stored on servers operated for these extensions and on Supabase, the database service they run on. Text you choose to translate is sent to Google's translation service. Weather and local-time lookups send a city name — and nothing else — to Open-Meteo.
Your settings stay on your own computer unless you turn on optional cloud sync, which is off by default and carries settings only.
What we never do
Your data is not sold. It is not shared with third parties beyond the services named above, which act purely as infrastructure. It is not used for advertising, profiling, credit assessment, or any purpose unrelated to making the extension work.
How long it is kept, and your choices
Data is kept while your account exists. You can sign out at any time, which stops all data collection, and you can request deletion of everything associated with your account — including the account record itself. Uninstalling the extension removes everything stored on your own computer.
